Unfortunately, due to illness and ensuing financial difficulties, our family of two adults and four boys, was faced with having to sell our century  home that we loved.  I was diagnosed with double breast cancer and, after 18 months of treatment and not being able to work, the result was having to sell our home.  Coming to terms with this reality and having to make this very difficult decision made us so appreciative of Francine's sensitive approach to our needs and her positive and reassurring demeanor.  Francine was hired to sell our home.

Francine had an initial meeting with us and took diligent notes regarding our situation.  She went through our house paying attention to every detail and then came up with a great plan.  From decluttering to coosing paint colors, Francine worked with us.  She showcased the house beautifully with her staging.  When coming up with a sale price, there is nothing that escapes Francine's attention.  

We found Francine to be a highly attentive agent, almost like we were her only customers, although we know that was not the case.  She returned all phone calls and emails the same day.  We never felt neglected or unimportant.  Francine was honest about some minor changes that we needed to make to our home to attract buyers quickly and her advice worked like a charm.

Now, a century home appeals only to a select few, as when you buy a house over 100 years old, there are things that come up that may be minor, but if you are not used to a century home it can be quite challenging to sell to a new home buyer.  Francine had the ability to communicate to these buyers and address any concerns.

Once on the market, Francine had open houses and attracted buyers.  We did have two good offers but our circumstances changed and we were in a better financial position and decided not to sell our home.

When we informed Francine that we were keeping our home, she was thrilled for us and was so happy that she could help us when we needed to sell the house.  There was no concern about our decision on her part as she truly wished the best for us.
